Josefina Paez, born in the Ecuadorian Andes mountains, has a unique approach to the exploration and use of sound. Through her background in linguistics, sound therapy, and ceremonial music she is innovating in the field through the use of synthesised frequencies and sub bass ranges.

As a producer, Fina creates audio for meditation and concentration that appeals to neurodivergent and neuroatypical people. Additionally she is a singer-songwritter of ceremonial music with her twin sister, offering a unique blend of languages and musical elements.

About the Awareness Campaign: In her groundbreaking work, Josefina acknowledges the dual nature of sound. Her approach is deeply rooted in her belief that while sound can be a profound source of healing, it can also pose risks if misused. This balance is central to her practice and research. Embracing this dualism, Josefina has began this initiative focused on educating and informing people about the impact of modern audio technology on our hearing and overall well-being. This foundation is a reflection of Josefina's dedication to not only harnessing the healing power of sound but also safeguarding our hearing capacity so that this medicine can continue healing us in the future.
